Important information on COVID-19 from Fayetteville Veterinary Hospital

March 18, 2020
We wanted to take the time to update all our wonderful clients about some important changes here at Fayetteville Veterinary Hospital. We are now able to expand our offerings and have no limits on the types of appointments we are seeing. We continue to offer Curbside Concierge appointments ONLY. Temporarily, our office doors will be locked and clients are no longer permitted into the building. We want to protect both the health of our staff and our clients as best as possible while still being available to provide for the healthcare needs of your pet. Our policies will be updated as needed to be compliant with current state regulations. What does this mean?
  • Curbside Concierge Service is now required:
    • Just give us a call at (315) 637-9801  when you arrive!
    • We will meet you at your car to retrieve and return your pet
  • Pet Parents are to wait in the car during the appointment, or arrange to drop off your pet and return later in the day for pick up
  • Please have all dogs leashed or in a carrier. All cats MUST be in a carrier
  • We will call to discuss consultation and treatment options
  • Payment via phone at the time services are rendered, if paying by cash or check we will explain our NO TOUCH payment procedures.
  • If you are dropping by a sample for analysis, please call us to let us know you have arrived
  • Curbside Concierge service for medication and pet food purchases that must be picked up at the practice. Please call us when you arrive.
Our hospital will remain OPEN during our normal business hours:
  • Mon-Thu: 7:30am-7:00pm
  • Fri: 7:30am-6:00pm
  • Saturday: 8:00am-1:00pm
As a reminder, we are following the recommendations of the CDC as well as orders of the State of New York. With the Phase 1 reopening we are now able to see any and all appointments. If your pet has fallen behind on vaccinations or other preventative care, give us a call to schedule an appointment. We understand that there may be occasions during this period that clients would have the unfortunate need for our euthanasia services. We have developed a safe and compassionate plan what will allow the pet owner to be with their pet in these circumstances. Please give us a call at (315) 637-9801 with any questions or concerns. We will continue to keep you updated on additional changes. We appreciate your understanding as we work to make sure pets receive the care they need while keeping our team and our clients healthy and safe.
