Most importantly, we’ll handle your loved one’s case with the utmost compassion, doing everything within our power to achieve a positive outcome.

Some of the signs that your pet may need urgent medical attention include:

  • Difficulty breathing
  • Ingestion of a toxic substance or foreign object
  • Broken bones
  • Cuts, lacerations or puncture wounds
  • Vomiting or diarrhea lasting longer than 24 hours
  • Bleeding
  • Trauma, such as from a fall or being hit by a car
  • Swollen or tender abdomen
  • Difficulty urinating
  • Lameness
  • Disorientation
  • Foaming at the mouth
  • Convulsions/seizures
  • Loss of consciousness

If you notice any of these signs, seek professional help right away. At Fayetteville Veterinary Hospital, we always recommend calling ahead when an emergency occurs. We sincerely hope you never experience the need for emergency veterinary medicine. If you do, however, we want you to know who to call. The team at Fayetteville Veterinary Hospital will be here to provide the highest level of care available.
