Diagnostics

Could an illness or injury be plaguing your otherwise healthy pet?

When people get sick or become injured, they go to the doctor, discuss their symptoms and receive the appropriate care. With pets, it’s not always this straightforward. Because animals can’t speak, they aren’t always able to tell us when something is bothering them.

What’s more, many animals are able to hide the signs of illness, allowing it to develop and worsen undetected.

Veterinary diagnostics enable us to identify and treat medical problems in a timely manner. Faster diagnosis of illness and injury can vastly increase the odds of a positive outcome.

Laboratory

Fayetteville Veterinary Hospital’s convenient on-site laboratory makes it fast and efficient to run a wide variety of tests. In many cases, we can have the results we need in just minutes. This means we can have a treatment plan in place before you and your best friend even leave the exam room.

Imaging

When a physical checkup and lab work aren’t enough to reach a diagnosis, we turn to advanced imaging technology, such as x-rays and ultrasound. These tools allow us to examine the bones and internal organs, identifying injuries, diagnosing illness and determining its severity.

Images can be evaluated by our doctors in real-time or shared electronically with specialists if necessary.

If your pet has been acting a bit unusual lately, don’t take chances. Contact Fayetteville Veterinary Hospital right away. We’ll get to the bottom of the problem and get your best friend back on the path to good health again.
